I too have a tiny Tulsi seedling, maybe 2" tall, that I got from the temple. There were a few that looked different. It is developing a woody purple stem and purple in the leaves, which are still predominately green, and teardrop shaped. This is what mine is beginning to look like:
If this is what it will grow to be, it's Sacred Thai Basil. But consider that because all of them are in the genus Ocimum, they can be cross-bred and hybridized, leading to the confusion and to different morphologies (appearance), even within the same species.
