Death rituals in the animal kingdom

    namaste

I read a very interesting BBC article about how certain animal species react to a death in their ranks.
It reminded me of the anthropomorphizing of animals in certain Puranas that I have read.

...humans are not the only animals who respond to death in a particular way. And the list of non-human animals
that seem to do so keeps expanding ... http://www.bbc.com/future/story/2012...spect-the-dead
    Hari Aum
With our ears may we hear what is good.
With our eyes may we behold thy righteousness.
Tranquil in body, may we who worship thee find rest.

    AUM Peace Peace Peace
