Namaste

For me, Hinduism is awareness. Does that make sense to you also? So as a bhakta, those who speak of the emptiness of Brahman, well let's just say I am more simple in my experience or place in Hinduism. Awareness isn't empty. It is always moving and it can be totally still at the same second, which seems to me to be different than empty. And it includes awareness of Divine all around me, and what is exciting is real awareness of the Devas and Devi. Just as we all have our Raja or Rani, or King or Queen, our Leader or Pontiff, our Hierophant or our Father or Mother, now take a fast track and see your Devata. I sort of feel "Do not be pompous, just make it easy, or much easier, step on the flying machine, accelerate it."

One first step is darshan. Seek darshan of your Lord or Goddess. You will be seen, do not just see. Then when you are seen, the one seeing you may want to tell you what you look like. And perhaps you will quickly see yourself, and at that time it is often beneficial or even fun to have company at the time. What better company than the Divine?

Stillness and Motion simultaneously, the frozen posture of the murti or the meditative Ashen Lord (stillness), and the Dance of Siva in Frenzy (motion) simultaneously.

Some go from day to day thinking of a way to have significant positive change in their life, but only make very small steps towards this. But there is a way to accelerate to significant positive change. Some say one way to do this is to understand stillness and motion can be two truths that can exist simultaneously and are in the example of Lord Shiva. You may achieve this on your own, but it is a rare soul who has accumulated all the right good karma to be on the fast track. But the Divine in the Devas and Devi are a not so secret secret to accelerate this positive change which is desired, now you will see it and live it very quickly which can be totally still and a frenzy of motion all at the same moment.

Here is one not so secret secret that may of interest also. Perhaps others can elaborate having a more profound understanding. The Five Faces of Lord Siva. Be careful to be honest in your hopes and dreams for your journey. It is very powerful, and not for those who are too selfish to not give the devotion to God that is required. The Five Faces are called Isana, Tatpurasha, Aghora, Vama and Sadhyojata.

Space, air, fire, water and earth transform themselves into vata (space and air), pitta (fire) and kapha (water and earth) . While there are some forms of karma that are said to be unchangeable and must naturally work the course, some also say that some saints can help diffuse many types of karma of others through control of these five elements.

These five faces of Shiva are said to be empowered in these five elements akash (space), air, fire, water and earth. So this is very interesting, just as a saint can diffuse the karma of others including aspects of your own karma, so can this Murti. Also each of these Five Faces is said to be a Mantra.

The cell phone is interesting. First it rings the tone. Now you know, that there is incoming, right at you. Now you know, and you answer. And the voice is there, and even you may hear sounds in the background from a far away place from which that voice is coming from. You may see a face behind that voice. That voice came over and through the sky, what you call wireless. But it is immediate, right upon you, right there. There was no wire. And from the same cell phone you may push the right numbers and reach outward to the other. But outgoing requires some knowledge. You need to know the number to dial.

The murti Is that. It is a good way to have Darshan, but it is much more powerful than the cell phone. If you see the Murti as personal to you, then it will ring. Now you know, that there is incoming, right at you. Now you know, and you answer. And something even more powerful than a voice is there, and you may even experience other movement in the background. You may see, hear, smell, sense, taste, live, experience, and it may have come through the sky, what you call wireless, but it is immediate, right upon you, right there. There was no wire. That is the Murti.

But here is something interesting that some forget, or do not know. From the same Murti you may push the right numbers and reach outward to another. But outgoing requires some knowledge. You need to know the number to dial. That may be a mantra. Here is something nice. You may dial up through the Murti, perhaps to Deva or Devi, or you may even call someone else, but that one will be special to you, and answer for you, there are saints or siddhas who may answer your call. All you need to know is the number.

Where will you get the number?

There is the yellow pages called the Ramayana or someone may give you the number who is call pandit, Guru, mystic, saint, siddha. Which number will you be given?
