    Namaste from South Africa

    Namaste everyone.

I’ve been lurking for a while, and thought that it’s about time that I introduce myself. I’m a Hindu from Durban, South Africa.
I must admit that I used to be apathetic, but recently I’ve had a desire to learn more about my religion. This year I’ve been associating with the Bhakti Yoga Society on my campus. It has been a catalyst for the rekindling of interest in my religion. I’ve been inspired to start reading the Mahabharata, (still a long way before I finish it).
My quest for more knowledge has also led me to this forum. I think that it is a wonderful resource.

    Om Shanti

    Namaste,

A warm welcome to the forum.
May your 'rekindled interest' grow and the time spent in this forum be useful/educational.

    Pranam.

PS Visited your beautiful country last year. Have many fond memories from the time spent in Cape Town and Joberg.

PS: Can you tell me the meaning of your handle name as it helps to connect with the person behind the handle?
