Thread: What is Vamachara?

    What is Vamachara?

I heard it's the Hindu version of what's considered the "Left Hand" spiritual paths.

Can anyone give any information on what this philosophy is and how it's practitioners see the world? I would like more information aside from a wiki article.

    Thank you in advance. =)

    Re: What is Vamachara?

"Left Hand" is on the other hand a new age creation based on Hindu vamachara. Vamachara is not a separate system or philosophy, it is simply one of the 7 or 9 acharas as one progress through shakta kaula tantra.

Well to call it the "left hand path" of Hinduism, is inaccurate misinformation, then what is vamachara really about ?
