    Puja and flowers

    Namaste
Are there any other things you can offer besides flowers in puja?

    Vannakkam: Vannakkam:

Food (fruit) , water, flame, incense, rice, are all common. You can also offer thoughts in the form of prayers, or mental dross you're asking the deity to dissolve for you.

There are several on-line pujas that will give directions.

    Best wishes.

Vannakkam: http://www.himalayanacademy.com/look...s/ganesha-puja includes a free booklet as well as audio for the chanting

Unfortunately, due to many temples or individuals offering to do pujas for you on-line, when you search, you get a lot of sites offering to do puja for you. In my opinion, its better if you're there personally.

Anything that comes to mind! You can pull infinitely many offerings out of the garden of your Heart, that is the beauty of puja!

On the same topic but a bit different, does puja have to involve flowers? Sometimes it is near impossible for me to get some.
