For Hindus in USA: FBI to Keep Better Track of Anti-Hindu Hate Crimes

A little bit of good news for Hindus living in the USA: the Hindu American Foundation has reported that the FBI is going to keep a closer eye on hate crimes committed against Hindus, at least in the form of better documentation of them:

Crimes against Hindus have obviously been a concern for law enforcement agencies across the USA anyway, but the attention that this development will bring to them will hopefully be instrumental in helping stop them.

I'll take whatever good news there is in this regard!

Vannakkam: Thank you for this. Is there more information as to the extent of crimes against Hindus, and where do I find it?

The only 2 circumstances I'm aware of are a couple of temples being targetted after 9/11 because they were mistaken by thugs a s mosques. The other was random attacks by a racist group/gang coined the dotbusters in New Jersey.

The HAF is only 10 years old, and it's really amazing what they've managed to accomplish in that short time. Very well organised, hold annual general meetings, and do a ton of behind the scenes work. All Hindus whould be aware of them, as they can also help individuals with workplace discrimination, etc.
