Combinations for getting to know god

Namaste,

I am very interested in knowing about the combinations (yogas and other factors) that enable one to 'know' god. This does not mean self-realization or becoming a monk to realize god. I am not talking about Pravrajya yoga. But, from time to time, we read stories about even many common men having been in the presence of god, viewed him or heard from him via dreams and then built temples and so forth. It is this type of men that I am talking about. What combinations in a chart allow one to perceive god?

This is a very wide open question. Any how my two cents on this.

1. Placement of Planets in the natal chart. If all the planets (nodes are not considered) present in Shubha Grahas houses that indicates the higher nature of the soul. Some people consider Sun also in this list. If a planet is exhaulted then its placement is not a problem.

2. 1st house, 5th house, 9th house and 12th house can show key indications.

3. Placement of Sun, Moon, Guru and Kethu can also indicates the trend.
