    Immanet or detached God?

    Namaste!
I have a question. In Hinduism the concept of God (Brahma and the Trimutri) is pervasive and immanent in our life?
I.e. the rules of karma are subordinate to our own decisions or god can affect the dynamics? Is there a sort of destiny (connecte with divine presence) underlying the lives of human beings or not?

Thank you for the philosophical help.

    Kind regards. R

Your question really seems to be "Does God predestine our lives?" The answer to that as far as I am aware is no.

We have freewill, and our karma is dependent on the things we do (but how it all works is very complicated, and beyond human comprehension). God can over-ride karma and deliver us from its reactions.

Thank you for your kind response. I've realized fully the meaning of Karma.
About immanent presence of God I was meaning also if God may acts on our low level, modifying the course of event in daily life.

    Let me know your suggestion.
    Namaste! Roberto

    Bhagavad-gītā 18.61 says (http://vedabase.net/bg/18/61/) :

"The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone's heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities"

Both our life and karma are under His control.

    regards
