'BJP Tamilnadu unit General Secretary hacked to death', screams the news headline.
A four member group of assailants killed the TN unit General Secretary V. Ramesh by stabbing him17 times while he was returning home from the party office on the evening of July 19 in Salem.
Anyone in/from TN, or with familiarity with this case have more information on this unfortunate incident? Who would be the most probable suspects?

Nope,This is not first murder.Nearly 5-6 BJP men have been murdered in last 2 years.As per local tamil news papers,suspects are some Muslim hardliners but investigation is still in intial phases.

From your response it appears that the BJP leaders in TN are being eliminated systematically and the federal/state/local Govts. have no means/desire to stop this as their elimination removes an element of opposition to their rule also.
