Very clever. Um so I am completely new to hinduism and I have no knowledge of any traditions or customs you may have so I am very sorry if I have offended anyone.

    Namaste Shawn,

    Welcome to HDF!

Please do not worry about having offended anyone by introducing
    yourself

Perhaps you could share a bit about what led you to
come here? In the meantime, it is suggested that reading through
the "New to Sanatana Dharma" topic will be very helpful, as many
questions you may have will have already been asked by others, and
    answered there.

Best wishes for your continuing journey!

    Welcome Shawn!

I am also very new to this. There is so much to learn and explore that it's difficult to tell where to start!

    Welcome and enjoy your journey.

    Namaste Shawn,

Welcome to HDF. There are plenty of people who come along here from time to time who are themselves new to Hinduism so you are in good company. I hope you enjoy your stay here. My advice would be to keep an open mind while you are learning about Sanatana Dharma, and never stop asking questions!

Wishing you luck on your spiritual and intellectual quest.

Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become your character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny."
