Can You Worship Tantric Deities If You Don't Practice Tantra?

    Hello, everyone!

I wasn't sure if these questions should go here or in another board. Since they're newbie questions, I chose here. Apologies if I've posted to the wrong board.

If you don't practice tantra, is okay to worship deities like Lalita? Or is that considered disrespectful, wrong, or whatever?

Also sort of related, can you worship mostly goddesses and not be a Shakta? Or if you do have to be a Shakta, does that mean you have to do Tantra and stuff like that?

Sorry if my questions are silly. I'm a bit lost. There's so much to learn!

    Namaste SatBast,

The answer to the question depends on your intent.

If you are simply attracted Goddess Lalitha then you can worship her.( you don't have to be a Shakta and need not practice Tantra).

Many Vishnu Devotees I know sing Lalitha Sahasranama and celebrate Navrathri. Navrathri is an important festival of Devi worshipers.

    Namaste.
