I have been searching for a mantra (one line prayer) for lord brahma but only found "om brang brahmaneya namah" on wikipedia. Does anyone know any other mantra? Please enlighten me on this.

Namaste,
The only mantras i have read online for lord Brahma are:
om namo brahma devaya
om brahmaya namah
om brahmadevaya namah
om brang brahmaneya namah (from wikipedia, though i am not sure whether it is a mantra for Lord Brahma or Brahman)
I really need mantras for Lord Brahma, so if anyone knows any mantra, kindly let me know...
Hari Om
Namaste Martin,
The names of the Gods are powerfully glorious mantras in and of themselves. They must not be neglected in pursuit of more advanced mantras which may be unsuitable for one's current capabilities.
You have not said why you desire Brahma mantras, but nama-japa is a key practice to worshipping and acquainting with a deity. The first three mantras in your second post are quite sufficient, but I would highly recommend chanting and meditating upon "Brahma" and "Aum Brahma" in addition.
Best wishes.
Jai Sri Ram

namaste,
thank you ramakrishna. So are you saying if i want to do japa for lord brahma, uttering the name itself (brahma) will be a good mantra?
also i am not sure about 'om namo brahma devaya'
and 'om brahmaya namah' because i heard these mantras in a movie..
do you think they are real mantras?

Namaste Martin,
I humbly apologize for this immensely delayed response.
Yes, uttering the names of the Gods themselves are effective ways of invoking and experiencing them. Nama-japa is a very common practice and suitable for all.
"Om Namo Brahma Devaya" and "Om Brahmaya Namah" are both real mantras. They take the form of basic nama-mantras, which are expended in the various sahasranamas.
Best wishes.
