    advaita or tantra?

    Namaste. Thismind percieves a single energy that variates into infinite form. It is energy's very nature to be aware. Like wettness is to water so is consciousness to energy.

    Now ultimately this doesn't matter, but is this more in line with Advaita or Tantra?

    Namaste!

    It is both. Seeing a very sharp distinction between Advaita and Tantra is largely a result of western scholarship, which has made this distinction appear to be greater than it actually is in practice.

    In the words of Sri Ramakrishna, "Kali is verily Brahman, and Brahman is verily Kali. It is one and the same Reality. When we think of It as inactive…then we call It Brahman. But when It engages in…activities, then we call it Kali or Shakti." (Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Nikhilananda, trans., pp. 134-135)

    That being said, your wording seems somewhat more in line with Tantra, emphasizing energy and dynamism. But Tantra is also a form of Advaita.

    Thank you, that explanation helps and makes a lot of sense.
    I was under the impression that tantra and Vedanta developed apart from each other

    They are distinct, but their worldviews and fundamental insights are closer than is widely acknowledged. Thinkers like Abhinavagupta of the Kashmiri Shaiva tradition saw them as essentially compatible and mutually illuminating. Both affirm non-duality at the ultimate level.

    The vijñāna bhairava kārikā-s inform us of the following:

    śaivī-mukhaṃ ichocyate || 20
    śakti ( which is śaivī) is the mouth (mukhaṃ) or entrance ichocyate (it is explained , ucyate or explained)

    This sūtra informs us śakti is the entrance…. but to what?

    The 21st sūtra informs us completely¹.
    yathālokena dīpasya kiraair-bhāskarasya ca |
    āyate dig-vibhāgāadi tadvac chatyā śiva priye || 21
    Just as parts of space are known by the light of a lamp
    or the rays of the sun, in the same way O' dear One śiva is known through śakti.

    Once we 'get' this then we can see what is the energy and what is Being , and their relationship ( yet there is not 2 )
