I am a new entrant into this Forum. I am 68 years young and by profession, I am a Computer professional starting from 1964 being one of the first batch of Computer professionals in India. Though I am retired, I spend most of the time teaching Computers to aspiring students, writing books on computer science.

I am a Hindu born in a Brahmin family of Calicut currently known as Kozhikode in the state of Kerala, India.

I am also a consultant astrologer and do quite a bit of research in Vedic Astrology. Perhaps you could read my articles in Navagraha Astrology

I daily read at least one chapter of MahaBhagavatham and am quite interested in Hindu mythology and the spiritual science contained in them.

I do hope we will have a nice time sharing our thoughts on Hinduism and spirituality in general.

Welcome to the forum. We look forward to hearing about your realizations.

It is heartening to know that you are involved with our dharma at so many levels and regularly read the scriptures. But please be aware that in most Hindu circles the term 'Hindu mythology' is not liked at all. Myth is something other than fact and Hinduism is factual not a bunch a concocted stories. Westerners coined this term for our dharma and we tend to use it without thinking about its negative connotation. Just a word of caution!

It seems you have a broad range of knowledge and it is exciting that you have joined! I like your link, and while I am not an astrologer, I am a client to Jyotish professionals. Like you, my entire professional life has been IT. You mentioned you have an interest in the Hindu Devatas, their Histories and futures and relations and such, I have such an interest and am interested to learn any information you have or share.
