A morning reflection
The problem with wrong self image ahamkara and insecurity which is based on bhayam fear.
If one types in Google
Bhoge roga bhayam
One can get some interesting insights into the factor of fear and its associated properties

The need to defend certainly arises from the animal tendencies that arises in the samskara and vasanas.
If we look into the Tibetan teachings of self cherishing we can get to understand this important part of our spiritual development.
The key to ridding oneself of the three poisons is letting go, easier said than done, and with the process of letting go there is always the danger of self annihilation or building up negativity to ones self and others, a type of aversion arises, it is easy to go from one extreme to another, the subtle phenomena in mind of self defense is certainly very deep. Many a time our main purpose is to defend this self (small s) we can defend it with great vigour.
Spiritual psychology is tantamount to developing ones self in the journey towards the Supreme, this should if understood with right view sammā ditthi ( Pali) note ( I could not find the Sanskrit term) for this bring us to true alignment of all of the dharmas.
Once spiritual psychology is being developed along side sadhana, although the true meaning of sadhana also includes mental techniques ( contemplative existential meditation), not just regulative principles and study, the samskaras and vasana's naturally decline, because there will be more space for the original mind to shine, or the state of wonder to arise, from this point we can then investigate with joy the conscious relationship with the Supreme, and dogma, regulated religion, belief systems are left behind and are seen as either social conventions or rudimentary purification's of the jiva.

When ever I go to some certain groups on social media, the more awakened ones of course, people always talk about social conditioning of the media, the way they are brainwashing society. Then we have conspiracy theories and counter conspiracy theories then ultimately end up with people not knowing what is the solution or where to turn.
The solution is simple

In this world, there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental knowledge. Such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And one who has become accomplished in the practice of devotional service enjoys this knowledge within himself in due course of time.

renounce the world in every-way. renounce renunciation in every-way. Renounce the poison of renunciation and non-renunciation. The Self is pure, immortal, natural, and immutable.
