Experience is key to the perfection of religion, however strong a scholar maybe if he has no practice and that practice does not lead to experience then what is the use, the knowledge just stays on the level of Intellect.

I like the format in Buddhism because they lay the path out step by step and give descriptions about the experience. I was wondering if there is something similiar that describes anything similar in any vedic or yogic texts.
