    Hari Om

    Namaste Shiva Fan and all,

Recently posted inquiry into this and development with India. All over the media is these names, ISIS, ISIL, still Taliban, still Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, etc. At root is ideology of Wahhabism/Salifism. Off point, but think important that media start saying Wahhabist/Salifist, then whatever name of specific group.

Within HDF much discussion with Pluralism, with Universalism, etc. Some say the devil is in the details with these discussions, such as scriptures. The written words are different within different traditions, etc. So, with this ideology, the words that are interpreted and followed are different. And the words followed are relatively clear. So in this case, call by name for educational and knowledge purposes. So as to connect the dots, so as to not unintentionally be euphemistic, so as not to confuse with any other of the many movements known. So as to understand how very vulnerable nuclear armaments are in this ideologies hands in Pakistan and with what that would portend.

My concern here on HDF and reason for question, is see India so much like Chechnya was, minus the Sufi conduit, and wished to know if anyone had knowledge regarding the spread of this ideology, regardless of name of specific movement.

Shiva Fan, thank you very much for sharing this.

    Om Namah Shivaya
