Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this thread.

I am currently in my final year of high school and for Study of Religion we are studying ethical issues. The ethical issue I have decided to choose is human rights. I will be looking more closely at the human rights issues of asylum seekers and torturing. It would assist me very much if you could please answer a few questions. If you don't want to answer all of the questions, answering any of them would be greatly appreciated.

1. What are your beliefs on human rights?

2. What are your beliefs on asylum seekers? Is seeking asylum a right everyone should hold?

3. Why do you believe this? What is your motivation for making your decision? (i.e religious teachings, upbringings, personal experience etc.)

4. What are your beliefs on torturing? Is torturing for the greater good acceptable? (i.e torturing a person for information that may save the lives of many)

5. Why do you believe this? What is your motivation for making your decision?

Thank you very much in advance
