Thread: Important decisions in life

  1. Important decisions in life

    Hi,

I'm in a moment in life that I need to take some important decisions and I want your opinion on: "Religion, traditions or personal beliefs doesn't give us the right and aren't an excusefor imposing our will on others or for our actions."

    Thanks

    Namaskar Noel,

While this is a statement I personally agree with, it is also a potentially loaded one depending on how and why it is used. If you truly wish for useful feedback, some small amount of context is necessary, and some introduction to yourself would also be useful.

May I ask, what are your own thoughts about this statement?

Welcome to the Forum, by the by. I hope it will be helpful.

Aanandinii ji is so right. As much as this question interests me, I find it impossible to arrive at some thoughts related to it, without knowing the context in which it is spoken.

    Namaste,

Welcome to the forum. It would be nice if you introduced yourself properly and then asked such heavy questions.

What are your thoughts about the statement that you want us to respond to?
As others have asked; can you provide us with reference point for this statement? What brings it up? It is lot easier to comment on a statement if one understands its implications rather than at an abstract level. So, you have to help us to help you by providing some details. Best wishes.

    Pranam.
