Mother in Law Vs Daughter in Law

    Hari Om,

As we all know Mother in law Vs Daughter in law is one of the most famous relationships across globe

What does Astrology say on this? Is it possible to understand the relationship between two via charts?

One initial thought is to derive based on known factors. Say in a Boy's chart analyzing the relationship between 4th house/Moon (rep mother) & 7th house/Venus(Rep Wife)...

Similarly in a girls chart analyzing the relationship between 7th house/Venus (Husband) with 10th house(4th from 7th) rep Mother in law.

Do we have more guidelines around this interesting topic!

Thanks in advance for your comments and inputs...

Perhaps an *ownership* (possession?) issue ...?

A birth-epoch is a seemingly-random TRANSIT-epoch that gains a personal-meaningfulness and becomes a beacon in the current lifetime of the incarnated soul-fragment; the union of a kona (angle) with a trikona (trine)...?

I once read, "The path to salvation is paved with spikes of suffering!"

Or was it 'the road to wisdom is paved ... etc?' 8-/ ??

Given the fairly wide-spread prevalence of this unique relationship-tussle, he 4-7 or 7-10 (etc) maladaptive attitude would imply that negative influences between these houses should be quite commonly seen? OTOH in many societies/communities a socially-acceptable non-astrological solution has been to keep the two vessels distant from one another, as much as possible! ;-) Such a remedy, where possible has been reported to perform wonders! Even more than a gemstone, amulet etc.

Pooja, as always, helps or periodic 'fasting' may ensue, sometimes by the ladies concerned, as well as the pivot of the problem (groom)!

Would really an astrologer look into the 4th from 7th house, namely 10th house for this puzzle (the MIL/DIL enemity)?

Would it suffice one to compare the 2 charts independently, as in assessing each individual lagnas, their antagonism against each other, the position of their lagnesh (and any other similarly applicable phenomenon)?

What would define 'hostility' between 2 separate individuals?

It seems to be more than "personal"; more like 'relational'...? Distance seems to be an effective remedy.

Thank you both for your thoughts.. In some cases I've seen MIL & DIL having great relastionships too.... So there should be something more than distance which is deciding the relationship right....

I understand astrology itself is a complex puzzle and am trying to super impose on more layer to it

Obviously you missed my 'common sense-based point!'

Distance only where there is discord and not where affection is overflowing -- no remedies in the latter case :-)

The discord seems to be far commoner than the positive melapak?

Maybe melapak between MIL-DIL should take presence where the newly-weds must live with parents?
