Searching for a story from Sri Vaishnava sampradaya...

    Namaste,

I have been searching for a story from the Sri Vaishnava sampradaya for a very long time... I am not very clear about the full story. It is actually an event that happened rather than a story.

Some SV sishya, a keen learner of Brahminical origin, once approaches his guru and asks him for advice on some granthas. For this, acharya advises him to go to a different teacher that the sishya hasn't heard of in a far-off town..

The sishya sets off and reaches the town. As he asks for the new acharya's name, he is directed to a particular address.... but only upon arriving there, his biggest surprise awaits! As it is a butcher shop! The new acharya is none else by profession but a 'butcher'...

    And the story goes...

I don't remember the rest of the story. If someone knows the above story, and the name of the acharya who has been a butcher, please help.

    Thanks.
