Hello and Namaste,
Lately, I have started reading books related to Hinduism including the Hindu scriptures. I came across the book "The Hindu View of Life" (1926) by India's well-known philosopher and teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The book is a gem! I thoroughly enjoyed it. In my opinion, the gist of the book is captured in a couple of pages (please see attached).
Unfortunately, there is no source mentioned for the Sanskrit verses (Upasana brahmanah prak...) at the bottom of page 32 (please see attached).
Could someone please direct me to the source of these verses?
It seems the file did not get attached. Here are the verses:
upāsanā brahmaṇaḥ prāk, dvitīyā saguṇasya ca
tṛtīyā smaryate līlāvigrahopāsanā budhaiḥ
upāntyā pitṛdevarṣigaṇānām astyupāsanā
antimā kṣudradevānām pretādīnām vidhīyate
