    Maths in ancient times??

    Namaste all..
To take benefits of this canteen section I am asking one little silly question. How counting is done in ancient time? Is there any figure like 10 heads of rāvan, 100 kaurvas? Aryabhata invented zero in kaliyuga so what figure one used in treta yuga, dwapar yuga? Or there are only words like Sahasrar, ekadash?
