Unable to change avatar

Namaste satay,
I tried jpg and png all with maxium of 100x100 and with size less than 20kb but I get the same error 'Unable to save image'. Is something wrong or am I doing something wrong?

I am also having difficulty changing Avatar image. Is there anyone on admin that could help me with this?
