Please be aware that unity in diversity is not a religious belief, concept or notion, but a direct personal experience that unfolds.
To 'preach' it is to be it , and not one word need be spoken. The 'speech' of this most blessed state is mauna (silence).

Please know that this is beyond the scope of this thread, as the subject is very large.

    Thanks.
    Namaste Viraja

Last few days because of the festival season was relatively free. Like you have mentioned, the subject is very large. And the clip says it all if we have intention to listen what it has to offer. Probably during the week end, will add my comments.

Besides the tight schedule, what hamper my motivation is that, we are conditioned to believe a thing which exist ONLY in a perfect world as TRUTH, later we base all our actions based on that non existent truth, the very reason we are debating here is a proof TO THE SIMPLE POINT that we aren't living in a perfect world. I just hope we all will have the courage, patience and perseverance to have a look at our own self in a mirror.

    Namaste Viraja,

Brahman is pure consciousness, and all seemingly seperate names and forms are based on this unitary consciousness.

To understand this fact is to love all and have compassion for all inspite of seeming differences on the outside.

Through body-consciousness or ego, one identifies with secondary identities like gender, race, religion, nation and create barriers and intense differences amongst these names and forms resulting in conflict and disharmony, which is a sign that Love and Awareness is lacking.

It was when Adi Shankaracharya himself became body-conscious and egoistic due to identification with caste, that Shivshankar appeared in front of him as a Chandala and questioned his understanding of Advaita when Shankaracharya ordered him to move aside. Shankaracharya eventually accepted the Chandala as his Guru, realizing the import of his words and fell at His feet recognizing him to be Shivshankar Himself.

The lesson from this famous incident is that one must cultivate the ability to see the Divine in all beings, no matter how different they may appear in name and form, and revere them accordingly. This leads to love and compassion for all beings, resulting in peace and harmony, truth and justice.

    Pranam.
