Help using Ubtan

Used ubtan today for the first today but perhaps improperly. I understand that one is to make a paste of it and apply to body, then rinse off. But does one then shower normally or is ubtan all that is needed?

If you are mixing the ingredients yourself, go easy on turmeric as it might turn white skin to golden color?
And then people might want to peel a layer off you to get some gold!
