The proper disposal of partially destroyed mala

    Hi everyone,

I'm getting some Rudraksha from Rudra Centre today.

I have a Tulsi mala who's guru bead with a tassle made up of strands of string is coming undone.
The tassle was not properly tightened and when I hid the mala inside my shirt, the strands started coming undone.

How do I proper dispose of this?

is there a mantra to say over the mala? Do I burn it?

Please let me know as to not disrespect.

    Thank you,
    Stefos
