Yes. Sri Ramakrishna said- the purpose of life is to see God. "Weep at least once in your life."
Amma said, 5 minutes of crying to see God is worth more than an hour or meditation.

- Change your thinking about yourself and about God.
- Regard every thought of God as God.
- Practice believing that God dwells in you already.
- Remember that God dwells in all others, too.
- Be still and know that I am God.
You should follow his advice to do karma without expecting anything. Leave the fruits of karma to his grace. He will reward you according to your vasanas, karma, kaal tc.
Most welcome, dear friend! It's wonderful to have people on the same path.
I'm wondering, how is your practice going?
Best way is steady but slow, path.
When we go one step, God goes one hundred or one thousand toward us.
So we don't have to go anywhere, but always remember God.
First of all, we need to get free from our all wishes, desires and affection to external world. Meditation and spiritual practices help to achieve self control.
Puja and bhajans are an essential part of Bhakti and Jnana combined and interrelated. If one presists all the knowledge can be attained within this life time and the Sanatan Dharma realised. The process of acquiring Jnana is total unattachment to all perceptions and beliefs until one homes in on the full knowledge that the Scriptures can only give us guidance but which unless experienced personally is not meaningful to the individual's life.
Well said Shantanu. Puja and bhajans are both for purifying the heart, mind and senses, as well as enlightening one and learning. Bhajans have the benefit as well of giving energy, and helping all those around.
