lets bring some more clarity because its an important topic that effects how many people see the Truth of Vedanta.

Vedanta has been chopped into parts, with varying philosophical and religious beliefs, Vedanta's own language this is known as paurusheya or man made, man means manas or mind made and not or divine origin, so they are simple all mental ideas, philosophical illusions, Vedanta is Apaurusheya or above the mind and of Divine Origin where Truth is One undivided reality, and in this way there is Absolutely no difference between Adi Shankara and Madhava Acharya who get spoke about as being opposites sides of these made up and fabricated philosophical ideas, maintained only by ones who still have avidya~ignorance as their guru.

Generally people are aware of these so called philosophies ( so called meaning that in in their own way they don't exists, they have been super imposed)

Adi Shankara ~Advaita Vedanta Absolute Non duality
Ramanuja Acharya ~Vishishtadvaita qualitative Non dual
Sri Chaitanya acintya beda abeda tattva ~ inconvievable union of Duality and non duality
Nibarka Acharya~ Dvait-advait philosophy, duality and nonduality at the same time, or dualistic non-dualism.
Madhav Acharya~ Duality

It is said that where ever Adi Shankara went he was always accompanied by his mother ~ mam , there is no Truth higher than this, mam is the most important sanskrit term that one can know, without knowing mam nothing will bear fruit, Adi Shankaras Adviat Vedanta is Bhagavat Dharma, same as all the Acharyas and Even Buddha as Tathagata.

Absolute Truth is the full non dual being known as Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan, this statement will only fully be appreciated by siddhas or perfect beings, and never understood by religious sectarians and philosophical mental creations.

The Acharyas have been set up very similar to Greek philosophers, where each philosophers is expounding his idea and belief on what is the truth, the ideas or mental concepts and beliefs form the basis of religion which has the tendency to be become sectarian and philosophical ideas which have the tendency to cause debate. Non of these have anything to do with Vedanta. This a vitally important to understand, and by upholding these false views and sectarian beliefs one only moves firther away from Vedanta which is freedom from all ideas and sectarianism and the heart of every Acharya, and will only continue to cause divisions between the Acharyas and their followers which effects the basic standard of living of indigenous people. Every system that is discovered is absolutely not contrasting or contradictory of each other, only true devotees and yogis can see this and speak out against this.

I will try and write more about this later, meantime the focus on every single responsible human being is to keep waking people up to what is causing division and hellish conditions in the world we live and what effects people lives. And that is materialism and its divisive channels, such as media brainwashing.

You can find some of this by looking up various saint-philosophers.

As Lokavidu explains, there are acharyas who debated this..

Ramanuja was one of the big ones for Dvaita, he is mostly admired by Vaisnava (and was one.) Especially in Gaudiya Vaisnavism.

You should be able to find some things he's written.

Ramanuja.

Then, for Advaita you also have Sankaracarya, but he is a bit ancient.

At the end, he wrote for Bhakti (worship and devotion of God in a a personal sense, i.e., Dvaita), in his work "Bhaja Govindam."

Besides this, Swami Vivekananda comes to mind as well. Swami Vivekananda is one of the greatest thought by many. He wrote and explained all topics and especially this one.

He taught Advaita Vedanta, so it would be a good place to study.

Now, also remember that these terms occur as well, Bhakti and Jnana, and so forth. While Dvaita and Advaita could be said to be called philosophies, Bhakti and Jnana are the corresponding approaches of these. Bhakti is devotion, and Jnana knowledge.

Dear Timetraveller


Please do not start all this, its a waste of time and energy, nothing i have wrote has been directed at you at all, right from the start i had no problem with you whatsoever and was amicably trying to reconcile any differences with you, and the only person who did not act accordingly was you, but we cant get that truthfulness out of you but we both know ...... and now you seem to have given your self a free licence to say what you want, just remember you will only bring this back to yourself, and i wont fall for your devious tricks again.

So i agree truthfulness is a great quality. Truth should not be negotiated with things that bring harm to others, sometimes we can get embroiled in this duality, intention is most important. If you would read my posts without emotion then you will see that i am always speaking out against injustices, perhaps without skill sometimes, i am very active in the real world, its not a great place, people are suffering often for no good reason, this can often carry emotion, why , because it means people really care, my life is for others, thats how i was trained and inspired, anyone can say that they are all good and perfect. but can they really put their money where their mouth is, this is the crucial point, only personal honest can answer this question. Some may show they are very perfect online, but this is often just a mask. Its very well and good to have pretty philosophies and sayings but are people really acting in the world to make it better or worse, all of this is just the tip.

This is not facebook, my posts are not for socialising.

Its a rare thing to be a fully a true Vaishnava, myself personally i consider people that admit they have faults and not perfect are much closer to Reality. And you yourself have proved a number of time that you also do not posses all the above qualities.

Now please move forward and just enjoy life and be happy and "BE" what you are preaching.

Well thanks M Lord, I feel the kindness in your words, your a good example, at some point i will rise to your level of purity, but for now i am still human with faults and not problem to admit them. But I have never consistency spoke to anyone as you are in this and numerous threads, but i dont accept any honesty from the outside supreme court , Truth is my allie.

Since this thread is about oneness verse duality

I am not to sure believer would be to happy to be mentioned on this post. From my very first posts which were an attempt to make some dynamic attempts to unifying the traditions where there have been false distinctions, and discussing science and vedanta which are two realistic studies and researches that warrant much attention. I was subject to for many personal attacks from my very first post right upto the point of trying to make good connection and be friendly numerous times to his advice to commit suicide, luckily i am more thick skinned. And i do not understand backward mentality's such as race superiority and racism, these things are not part of any spiritual culture, and yes i let myself down a few times with this person and his years of being rude to guests and nasty to his own people.

i will avoid any political comments because by all accounts its to late, they won again, im just glad i never played any role in supporting certain things, and this is spoken from an earthling universal one consciousness point of view, which is slowly having less and less credit in certain places.

However if he ever wanted to have a talk on some serious issues and if he can be honest on all accounts i will always be open to any form of reconciliation. But I'm not holding my breath....

People in any race or culture can and have realized the Self, I know a few people who are Self realized beyond doubt and not all of them are Indian. This is the beauty of Self Realization. I will always champion real equality and talk against narrow mindedness.
