Jyotish and Ayurveda

Namaste,
We can find that Jyotish and Ayurveda are complementary. That is, the timing of dis-ease, ones constitution, some aspects of treatment, etc. can be viewed in ones jama kundali (birth chart).
Where Jyotish falls short and must rely on doctors is the actual diagnosis. An excellent viadya can do pulse diagnosis¹ and ascertain ones existing health and future health conditions by this method.
That said, for those studying jyotish and wish to gain some information on this , consider Essentials of Medical Astrology, by Dr. K S Charak. Dr. Charak, whose jyotish guru is K.N. Rao and I had the good fortune of talking to, does a nice job and provides useful information on this matter.
The book is comprehensive and well written. Among many, you will find one section useful for chart analysis: Indications of Ill Heath and Recovery found in Chapt 9.
Perhaps a few posts on this matter will be interesting discussion.
Dis-ease, undesired happenings, excessive physical labour, and dissociation (inablity) to obtain the object of desire, these 4 cause physical torments (dis-ease)... Mahabharata, Aranya Parva
