Re: Hindus Want Australia to Respect Billionaire Oswals' Belief of "No Meat" in Home

    Vannakkam:

So let me get this right. Our spokesman, speaking on behalf of Hindus everywhere (not me) from his home in Las Vegas, is defending a billionaire's right to have his 70 million mansion built only by vegetarians.

Isn't here something more important to do?

Maybe said billionaire could be asked to share his wealth a bit, it seems to me that kind of wealth doesn't come dharmically easy. If said millionaire chooses, why can't he hire his own veggie only contractors?

I'd really like to know how this guy came into so much wealth, hopefully it wasn't via exploitation of others.

Do we really have this kind of right. I mean, I think I'll ask our Canadian government to hire only vegetarians to build the roads of Canada. After all, I have to drive on these roads. My rights are being taken away.

    Sheesh.

I wasn't so sure what to think of this until I saw that it says he's designated areas where the workers can eat whatever they want. I would still personally like to know the conditions of these areas, are they clean and relatively pleasant or are they for example near an open septic tank? :P

    Aum ..

The issue was only brought up by the construction union. But there's no way you can monitor such things closely. What's to stop one of them from having a smoke in the basement, or taking a urine break on the sand before concrete is poured. What do you do, hire security to monitor workers?

I think some people just take life far too seriously, and it seems anyone in power, like rich people, self appointed Hindu spokespersons, or heads of unions are the worst.
