mandir = mandira मन्दिर - and this is defined as (a noun) any waiting or abiding-place , habitation , dwelling , house , palace , temple , town , camp . Yet it also means dwelling in.

This 'dwelling in' is of interest to me. Why so? Because mandira also has another definition of 'the body'. And what to we find dwelling in the body ( the temple ?) The Divine,
the Self.
