Vannakkam Ramakrishna: Wow. I just heard this one live in a temple about 10 days back. That was the first time I heard it. Then you post it. I must say, though, all bhajans sound better live than coming from a screen.
The crystal lingam is nice as well.

Namaste Eastern Mindji,
I used to hear this a lot when I was younger, as it's probably my father's favorite Shiva bhajan. But I hadn't heard it in a very long time until just recently when I stumbled upon it. It's very beautiful, hopefully I will hear it live one day.

Dynamite Jogi Re JanmashtamiBhauan by Bhavya Pandit August 2009

I am not a follower of “Bapuji”, but I must say this live bhajan by Bhavya Pandit in 2009 will zonk you with bhakti. Whatever you may think of the “India Idol” (Season 4) contestant (2008) Miss Pandit was definitely and successfully invoking the direct presence of the Lord at that moment. The Bhajan is to Guru, but I think my sense is that Lord Krishna was there somehow.
This is the power of Bhajan. I have seen it and felt it. It brings the Lord be it Shiva, Vishnu, Muruga, Krishna, Ram, Hanuman, Ganapati, Devi and every Deva directly into the very place where the bhajan is full of devotion. There is no question about it. The power comes, the love comes, the Deva comes. And it is most typical, an overpowering sense of love that is at that moment, but it is a special, innocent type of love. I know some advanced yogis and impersonalists say God is not Love.
Well, when that special bhajan happens, you KNOW God IS Love! You are suddenly that child who knows what love really is. It is wonderful. It is God. And remember, Love takes Two. Just ask Devi Valli!
