    Namaste,

This is great. Hopefully a good amount of non-Hindus will go as well as learn about the Ramayana and why Hindus worship a monkey.

I've been thinking about something recently and it is very ironic. A lot of Christians (specifically all Catholics and Orthodox) see no problem with God taking the form of a piece of bread, but they find it outrageous that God would take the form of a monkey or that God could have an elephant head. Catholics and Orthodox Christians believe that when the bread is consecrated it literally turns into the body and flesh of Jesus, and they will worship and pray to it. Of course I have never seen a problem with this and if that is what they believe then good for them. But it is very ironic and hypocritical that they do that yet so many of them find it outrageous and ridiculous that Hindus worship a monkey or a God with an elephant head.

This is just an observation I've made that I was thinking about recently.

    Jai Sri Krishna
