Consider it this way... let's say the best place you enjoy the most, the most comfortable location that you are at your fullest, is at home in a favorite chair. This location for you is then ucca - lofty , elevated or your deep exaltation location. Yet still being at home, your favorite place you are still elevated, very much happy. This home location is still 'exalted' yet deeply exalted is when you find the comfort of your favorite chair.

And what of the place where you are most uncomforable? This would then be nīca - debilitated. Yet from a spiritual POV nīca is also humbled, another quality of the planet and of the native.

Now one more place, you are at work, doing what you are very capible of doing/acting - performing your proper duties. For a planet ( graha) this place is called mūla-trikoṇa. Its place of work and doing what it does best.
