    Taking a break...

After other forum members leaving or taking a break, I have decided to step back for a while. It's nothing personal, but I have noticed that I am spending a lot of time browsing the internet. I need to get started with my studies for once. I have had health problems since four years ago that prevented me to go to university and now I am starting over. It requires more effort that I had imagined to start studying again after such a long period. I have enjoyed my time at this forum, but if you find me making a post, please stop me. I'll be back in januari.

Vannakkam Sahasranama: I was reflecting on this idea of 'taking a break' just yesterday. For the youth, it means 3 or 4 weeks, maybe a couple of months. For old men like me, it means 2 or 3 years, and for old souls near the end of the path, it may mean an entire lifetime.

For busy mothers, it means five minutes.

    All the best.

    namaste SahasranAma.

I appreciated your tradition-conscious views on everything related to Hindu Dharma, which is rare for a youth of your age, although you have also displayed the 'youthful temperament' in some views of yours. You seem to have wide knowledge about almost everything and deep knowledge about some things, but of course, there is always time for youths to develop their svAdhyAya.

I wish you all the best in your university courses. May Shiva's anugraha for success and better health be with you at all times.

    Good luck buddy.
There is a Guru in each of us. It is the Atma principle. It is the Eternal Witness functioning as Conscience in everyone. With this Conscience as guide, let all actions be done. (sss20-15)

That's advice I could follow myself. I have been trying to wean myself from the internet. But it may be a real distraction if you have computers on your college campus! This place can become highly addictive after a time.

Best of luck with your re-adventure into university.

Okay, I am not going to take a brake from Hindu Dharma Forum. If I take a break here, I will just follow other sites and I think I can get more value from reading and posting on Hinduism.
