    Self Enquiry

I feel self enquiry is an excellent meditation technique.

Ramana Maharishi has mastered self enquiry technique.

I can say from my experience that ' Who Am I ? ' of Ramana is easier said than done.

Personally I pursued the path but discontinued as I didn't want to deviate from my commitment to my family.

Ramana Maharishi says physical heart is on our left side and spiritual heart is on our right side. I was able to concentrate on my spiritual heart almost twenty years back but didn't continue for obvious reasons.

Nisargadatta disagreed with Ramana on location of spiritual heart and said that it is located in the brahmarandhra.

Here is an interesting conversation between Ramana Maharishi and his disciple Muruganar

Ramana Maharishi doesn't condemns rituals and ceremonies. He only says that all these will lead to same goal of `self realisation'

Bagavan Ramana has said that the Enquiry into the source of "I', look at who shines forth in the Heart as "Naan, Naan" or "I, I" is real meditation and Aradhana, as it leads to Self-realisation. It is the most Direct Path, according to Him.
