Where do you get your prayer materials?

So I am getting ready to set my shrine up and I am trying to track down a decently priced place to get my sandalwood and kumkum powders. Going on amazon kumkum powder is $6.75 per gram for 50 grams. Sandalwood comes at $60 per pound.

Anyway just wondering if anyone knew a cheaper suppliers?
Keep it as simple as possible; but not any simpler.

Vannakkam Seth: Not sure of sizes but this seems reasonable to me.

Vannakkam again: Now this is a bit more specific, but I've been looking for a sambrani burner for awhile. I saw this large one in use in India, but does anyone know any on-line site for ordering more specialized large temple puja materials like this?

Next time I'm in Toronto maybe...

    Hari Om!

Wasn't sure we could post specific sites and I certainly don't endorse one or another because I've used several with success, but if you live in the US, krishnaculture.com has reasonable prices and has finally aligned their shipping costs with other sites, sometimes even better.

I have also used the minimela site and can attest to its good reputation.

Local Indian food stores also usually carry a minimal amount of puja supplies including those you've mentioned. That will save you shipping costs too.

Vannkkam Sahasranama: I have no problem finding the material. What I'm looking for is a burning vessel I've seen being used in temples (only in India) to burn it in. In a hotel we were staying in, each night the room management guys would wander through the lobby smoking the entire place up as a purification ritual. It looked a bit like a stall standing lamp like a kuthavillaku, but more just a large bowl on top.
