I wonder what the "Rooster, Pig, Snake" represent in the centre circle of the last diagram, i.e. why those animal names?

EDIT: OK, I have just seen the note above saying it might be Buddhist, 'Chinese Years' came to mind, so perhaps that is why. I have not come across that in Sanatana Dharma before.

I have no idea! I really don't know where that diagram is from, a friend of mine used while talking about karma. I found it very very curious.

However I've seen Buddhist diagrams, showing wheels, representing the several stages of life, starting on infernal, passing through animal, human and reaching deva. And then, since it's a wheel, back to infernal. I guess it is to illustrate how temporary one's status really is in the material world.

Buddists were fools (Buddhus), they corrupted Hinduism, and mispresented History.

Buddhists were definitely not fools, they have big played a role keeping Hindu tradition and knowledge alive.

    Namaste

Greed, Hatred and Delusion - they keep chasing one another - the very hub of samsara. At the twelve o'clock position it is the blind man walking indicating that in our ignorance we inevitable follow the wheel leading to death and rebirth.
