Ganga - Interview with Shandor Remete

    http://wildyogi.info/en/issue/ganga-...shandor-remete

Shandor Remete, Hungary-born Australian teacher of yoga, is widely known in the world, even though he keeps aloof from "mainstream yoga". His own style of "Shadow Yoga" resembles a mixture of asanas with employment of vinyasa, dynamic exercise from marshal arts, Thai Chi, and Indian dance. He proceeded a long path of learningbody and consciousness development practices. Shandor dedicated many years to studying under BKS Ayengar in Puna, Ashtanga Vinyasa with Mark Darby, and practicing Japanese art of sword and Chinese techniques of Shaolin monks. Besides this, he learned how to work with marmas in Ayurveda, and deepened his understanding of postures in ancient Indian dances.

This interview was taken in Moscow, in Shandor's room at Beijing Hotel, during one of his seminars in 2004. It was published only in Russian then, but there are some interesting opinions in it, which I believe, are worth spreading for the international audience.

Re: Ganga - Interview with Shandor Remete

Shandor talks about the 108 karanas of Shiva, I have found a youtube video with sketches of these positions:

Does anyone know more about it?
