    Namaste Eastern Mindji,

Very interesting. I remember reading last year that the Indian military was planning to weaponize the world's hottest chili.

    Hari Om!

How fantastic! Ayurveda at its best. I've personally taken it daily to help with inflammation/pain. Works wonders. Would love to see just how far science can take this. Just make certain to give proper credit where it belongs!

    Namaste,

More information about the wide array of benefits of turmeric and its chief compound, curcumin:

The power and beneficial properties of this plant are truly amazing, both physically and spiritually. Dr. David Frawley said, "If I had only a single herb to depend on for all possible health and dietary needs, I would without much hesitation choose the Indian spice turmeric."

I highly encourage everybody to incorporate it into their diet. It fits right in with many Indian dishes and can also be inconspicuously added to many other foods. It is so powerful that only a little amount is needed. You can also make turmeric tea, although I have never tried that.

Do any of these links point out that years of turmeric intake prevents Alzeimers' ?

There was an article once in 'India Today' magazine, that conducted a survey on villagers.
