    From post 4 above:

Mahāṛṣi parāśar offers that the kārakāṃśa in pisces suggests mokṣa - this again is in the navāṃśa¹ chart.
This information can be found in mahāṛṣi parāśara's brihat-parāśara-horā-śāstra, kārakāṃśa adhyāyaḥ - (the chapter on
    kārakāṃśa-s , or chapter 35) - the 2nd to 8th sūkta-s (verses)

    Yajvan Ji,

How about the influence of the 8th house ruler or some connection to the 8th house in this matter.

As jyotisa is an "occult" science and involves revealing the "hidden" influences of the planets, should this be a factor too?

    Namaste Blue Lotus, Yajvan,

An interesting point that you make; I think of Jyotish as a tool for the exploration of that which is in the depths of the well, that of the 8th house. The 8th rasi is after all orientated towards the galactic root, or is that the 9th? Anyway, its description a map, brought to us by the ṛṣi who have seen within these depths.

If I might interject with the proposition that; Jyotish is rather the inverse of a thing occult or occluded, shedding light upon and as bridge between, that which is hidden, spiritual or subjective, and the manifest world. The very human decision to keep this science a secret, is altogether another matter indeed. As such, the actual science its self can be confused for its own concealment.

With that said, I have at times wondered about the possibility that time goes through phases of correlation and non correlation; rather like the Sun passing behind clouds, with out which there would be no rain; the well is after all, best appreciated in times of drought.

    Kind regards.
