Thread: if you could chose your spirit guide

if you could chose your spirit guide

like shiva always has his bull, and ganesh usually takes a rat

I imagine mine as a snake because I associate animals immediately with snakes.
but snakes aren't evil, they poison us because we left them in spirit.

what animal would be your spirit guide?

Those are not spirit guides, they are vahAn = vehicles - how offensive to say nandi is spirit guide of Shiva. Nandi is not a GPS navigator, he is a faithful servant and a pure devotee of Lord Shiva. Same with mouse for GaNesh, lion for Durga, etc.
Garud was offered the position of vahAn by Shri VishNu, what a great honor, and he proves to be an excellent pure devoted servant. We must learn from these vahAns -- they are all in service of parabrahma paramAtmA - you know Who that is.

Animal ? When Sat-chit-Ananda parabrahma Govindam Himself walks beside me, as Dearmost Witness Companion and Guide, i need no more.
