Trying to oust Hindu Professor from Harvard

Namaste all, it's been a while since I've been on the forums so not sure if this has been discussed yet.

I came across this article of a group of students gathering a petition to get rid of a professor of economics at Harvard that is Hindu. Subramanian Swamy wrote an op-ed of his thoughts (that I think is wonderful btw) and a couple of christian indians began the petition.

The worst part of all this is the blog post on Sepia Mutiny. Not only have the christians and muslims organized to oust him, it seems a fair number of our own Hindus want to as well. Un-freakin-believeable.

Yes, I've been following this "issue" quite closely.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy calls a spade a spade. He, unfortunately, gave voice to his strategy out loud. With majority of Hindus wanting to appear "secular" in order to kiss up to the mlecchas (Abrahamics/Communists), Dr. Swamy will not get much public support in this matter.

What he has stated is quite true and his strategy to get rid of Islamic terrorism (and I'm sure Christian terrorism as well) would work if Hindus were united in their cause. Alas, that's not the case. As typically Hindu/Indian, which you can tell by the sanctimonious admonishment most Indians have meted out to Dr. Swamy for this article, most people are publicly rebuking Dr. Swamy for stating facts and the truth.

India needs a revolution; a Hindu revolution. Indians are too fractured to act together and too self-centered to fight for a cause with single-minded focus. Our apathy towards the plight of our own will be the cause of much heartache to Hindus and the Hindu cause. We need a new Shivaji Maharaj.

I find it hilarious that these pariah filth at Harvard have petitioned to have Dr. Swamy removed from the faculty there. To add insult to injury, these vermin who started the petition were Indians! The same Harvard has quacks like Michael Witzel who still propagates racist theories like Aryan Invasion as fact and is openly anti-Indian/anti-Hindu. Nobody has petitioned to have him removed.

Dr. Swamy is a brilliant man. He single-handedly insured that that Italian trash Sonia Maino will never become PM of India. He is also on track to expose her corruption and looting of India to the world. He is the one who brought the 2G Spectrum scam to the public's attention and had that dalit A. Raja arrested along with his wife, Kanimozhi, another dalit. He is widely respected for his intellect and unabashed support for Hindus; a rarity in India and around the world today. Dr. Swamy should become PM of India. Only he, or Narendra Modi, can save India and the Hindus.

It seems that Harvard might want to assert its values of freedom of expression, which it says is its hallmark. Good for them if they did. Even if Swamy quits, the loss would not be to him.

Subramanyam Swamy is a brilliant personality but crosses the yellow line quite often.

He should not have termed entire muslim community as terrorists. Azim Premji of Wipro is a muslim but doing lot of social work for the entire population.

Let us not blame entire muslim community for the terrorist links of few muslims.

Ahh...the "No True Muslim" fallacy, my friend. AFAIK, the Quran is very clear on how those who do not fight for Allah's way with their wealth and life are lower in Allah's eyes than those who do. See here.

Unfortunately YOU call Azim Premji a Muslim. Allah also calls him a Muslim, but unless he fights for Allah's cause with his wealth and his life, he is subpar as compared to say Osama Bin Laden in Allah's eyes.

Thanks for the update! I do hope that Harvard stays firm with their emphasis of free speech. At any rate, it would indeed be Harvard's loss to let him go.

Dr Subramanian Swamy is interviewed by Fox TV. Dr Swamy answers the response to his DNA piece, orchestrated campaign in Harvard and hooliganism by Sonia Gandhi/Congress Party, resulting in attack on his home in response to his exposing the 2G scam.

Interesting that Fox TV covered this while Indian media outlets like NDTV preferred to censor this news.

And this is probably the first time, sonia gandhi corruption is cited in a mainstream media outlet, something Indian media tries to censor.

Nice interview and SS is spot on in saying that intelligent countries around the world should not go about restricting free speech. Free speech is the only way Islamic terrorism can be tacked.

Fox News promotes mostly a Judeo-Christian world-view. Nonetheless it is good to see our POV enunciated on foreign channels.

Vannakkam: Many here do not take Fox News seriously. It is very extreme right wing tabloid journalism, and that's being kind. I can't get it on regular channels here in Canada because our government has some broadcasting regulations that Fox can't get past.
