What does the mantra mean?
Sri Rama Rama Rameti, Rame Rame Manorame;
Sahasrenama tattulyam, Rama Nama Varanane
What does the mantra mean?
Raaam = Lord Rama's name
Raameti = Raam + iti ==> Raam alone
Rame = which attracts
Raame = into Raam
manorame = lovely, adjective used for Raam
Shasranaam = thousand names of Lord Vishnu
tatulyam = equivalent to
Raam naam varaanane = The best Raam Naam
===> Raam-naam attracts us towards attractive Raam ... this (the Raam-naam) best Raam-naam is equivalent to Shasranaam.

Sahasra NAma Tat Tulyam
RAma NAma VarAnane
Lord Shiva addressed Devi PArvati: “O Varanana (lovely-faced woman), I chant the holy name of Rama, Rama, Rama and thus constantly enjoy this beautiful sound. This holy name of Ramacandra is equal to one thousand holy names of Lord Vishnu (Vishnu-sahasra-nama-stotram)." ***
rame (verb) = the mind engages in, meditates on
*** One utterance of rAma is equivalent to the entire VishNuSahasranAma ONLY WHEN chanted/sung/uttered in that proper consciousness (knowingly, meaningfully, understanding the the word Shri RAm is a condensed word heavy with meaning).
Taken further, 3000 Names of Shri VishNu (VishNuSahasranAma X 3) = 3 names of rAma = ONE name of K r u s h N a - when chanted in KrushNa consciousness.

Slight edit: 1000 V = 1 R
3000 V = 3 R = 1 K
(II) In the Brahmanda Purana it is stated:
sahasra-namnam punyanam, trir-avrittya tu yat phalam;
ekavrittya tu krishnasya, namaikam tat prayacchati.
“The pious results (punya) achieved by chanting the thousand holy names of Vishnu (Vishnu-sahasra-nama-stotram) three times can be attained by only one utterance of the holy name of Krishna.” - to which i add "in KrushNa consciousness"

The adyātma rāmāyaṇa ( bālakanda section ) informs us, rāmāḥ is the Supreme Self, distinct from prakṛti. He is the one all-comprehending Being who is pure bliss itself and Spirit Supreme over all entities.
He is unaffected by māyā, say the 20th śloka.

With our ears may we hear what is good.
With our eyes may we behold thy righteousness.
Tranquil in body, may we who worship thee find rest.
