Daily Puja in Home and Art of puja

    Friends, let we share
how you make your private puja everday (in home) become art , very comfort and anythings

now i only use one cupboard (not too big and not too small) with 2 door
then in top have a cloth that is dark blue and five colour.
Sometimes i do puja with incense (small) , sometimes i use aromatherapy oil who boiled (use candle). Sometimes i make altar full of flower.

please share your experience, i want a inspiration from you

    Namaste,

Thank you for sharing. My puja is very simple. I do not do Puja daily. Only once and a while when there is a feeling for it. Other than that I enjoy japa, self inquiry, and just bare attention awareness as a form of worship. Sometimes I utter a prayer, but when i make offerings its of simple fruits. Sometimes I offer a simple candle or incense. Other times (yes I know its controversial) I may offer Cannabis to Lord Shiva. My offering is very simple in terms and intention. I do not 'try hard' to make some type of offering. I just give what I can humbly do even if its not very complex.

Oh yeah, that is the most desirable substance to offer to Lord Shiva????

Amazing that people are repeatedly BANNED for using harsh language in support of Hinduism, but not a whimper for posting this kind of trash. Sometimes you wonder!

    Pranam.

PS My apologies for the outburst. Please continue with whatever way you have adopted to connect with the Divine.

Its possession or use is highly questionable (federal offense) in the US, and never heard of its use in South India for puja of Lord Shiv.

    Namaste Believer,

I don't know why you were shocked on reading about offering of Cannabis to Lord Shiva ! It is offered to him as a matter of course. There is nothing wrong in it.

I always prefer to offer him milk-water mix with some crushed dry cannabis sprinkled over it. It is readily available in most of the shops in front of Kashi Vishvanath temple here in Varanasi.

    Namaste devotee,

This may be an ignorant question, but how do you wash the murti or linga afterwards?

I apologize that you think my post was trash. It is of my personal devotion. If you dislike it by all means I cannot change your mind, but I do not see a reason why I should be banned for stating that I offer Cannabis to Lord Shiva. This is just my opinion

By offering plain water. After offering milk or anything, the Lingam is normally bathed in plain pure water to make it clean.

Thank you, I did not know if there was a special way of washing. I have been wanting to offer milk to Lord Shiva. I just have not really taken the action to do so.
