    Om Namah Shivaya Mudra?

    Namaste,

My favorite mantra is Om Namah Shivaya. I usually chant this mentally with each incoming and outgoing breath as I focus on my third eye. I was wondering if there is any mudras I can add with my practice of the 5 syllable mantra.

    Om Namah Shivaya

    Hari Om!

Although I didn't find anything with a specific reference to Shiva, I do see that the "Jnana Mudra is beneficial for among other things increasing concentration during worship, meditation and prayers. Should be practiced 30 minutes everyday."

This what I learned from HH Sant Sri Asaramji Bapu in his book "Bal Sanskar".

    Om Namah Sivaya
    Jai Hanuman!

    Namasté,

Spiritualseeker, the linga mudra is an option. You can see it clearly here:

Śiva has his hands in this mudra first at 0:24 and then at several other points in the video. And it's a beautiful song to go with your advice, too.

This is one of my favorite of mudras. I find sometimes my left fingers sort of twitches sometimes, I am not sure if this means there is some dis-balance within me.

Thank you. I love this Mudra. It seems very powerful. Especially when meditating on the formlessness of the Linga.

    Om Namah Shivaya
