    Re: My Gita review

No need for apologies at all. I experienced similar tumultuous emotions after my very first reading of Gita. As others emphasized above, one has to study and analyse Gita (paarayana) in order to get most out of those verses. Not such an easy task with your proposed Upanishad paarayana, Iam afraid. Those are tough nuts to crack. Both the story line and the story telling style are unique and somewhat vexing, as presumably was the accepted norm/case in the academia those days. Good luck and welcome to hindu fold. Namaste.

    Re: My Gita study

Well to me it doesn't seem as though you said or did anything wrong. Maybe overly simplified the texts but hey we are all here to learn. I would continue to study the Gita and maybe plan to study under a guru.

Best of luck to you. God be with you.

    God be with you, always.
