Re: What does pure faith feel like?

In my understanding, pure faith is feeling that GOD will take care of me (Atma) and irrespective of whatever happening to this body-mind-intellect organism (which again is as per HIS plan), it is only for my (Atma) good. Feeling faith, to me, is being able to remain equipoised in the midst of dualities. Feeling faith, to me, is not feeling low or depressed when things are all dark and nothing seems to work.

Knowing that God is there for you and will give you what you need, not necessarily what you want, in the material world. It's knowing that with love and devotion towards Him, and with His help and grace, you will reach Him.

    Namaste AstralProjectee,

Faith is to my mind, that which we need to find our path. Rather than being pure or dirty it might be better said to be either, steady or unsteady and incomplete.

Total faith might be said to be unwavering, yet how does one know; should we become convinced that faith is total we may then consequently loose it in total delusion?

To feel that one is headed in the right direction is a pleasant feeling indeed, to achieve ones posture I can only imagine to be blissfully calm.

When we venture to far from our paths, we are brought back with a jolt; this can be positive it can also feel very negative. Some times we go round and round in circles ...

Faith initiates the path of learning; we forget, faith then reminds us.

I hope this gives you some food for thought; perspective is everything.
